Commercial Manager – Fit-out

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all commercial aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, manage costs, and ensure financial performance aligns with company targets.
  • Contract Administration: Negotiate, prepare, and manage contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks associated with projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for senior management.
  • Procurement: Oversee procurement processes to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery of materials.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a commercial management role within the construction or fit-out industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, cost management, and project finance.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in commercial management software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
