Based in Burntwood, this family-run business is seeking a detail-orientated and personable Sales and Project Administrator to support on commercial projects and foster close relationships with customers.

Recognised for excellence, both in terms of service levels and products, this company offers bespoke solutions for commercial clients and consumers and has become a 'go-to’ for many. Becoming an integral member of a close-knit and vibrant team, this position focuses on the commercial side and will take responsibility for handling large-scale commercial projects and supporting the customer needs along the way, which means the successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent administration and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

What’s in it for you?

  • Work hours: Monday to Thursday: 9am to 5pm; Friday: 9am to 4:30pm; Every other Saturday with a Wednesday off: 10am to 4pm
  • Salary: £24,500 rising to £25,350 with commission up to £29,000
  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Annual bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Support business customers throughout the entire lifecycle by providing regular updates relating to projects and orders
  • Use your understanding of business customer's needs to shape their space and create mood boards and floor plans
  • Serve as the first point of contact for commercial customers, using extensive product knowledge to support with queries
  • Handle all sales administration tasks which involves raising quotations, processing orders, and inputting customer information
  • Assist non-commercial customers with their queries in-person, online, and over the phone, and using Sage to process online orders and create invoices
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure repeat business
  • Upkeep the showroom and greet customers in-person to offer your guidance
  • Keep all customers up-to-date with stock availability
  • Attend trade shows to promote products and attract new business

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience gained as an Administrator or Customer Service Executive, which has been gained within a sales environment
  • Commercially minded and possesses superb administration and numerical skills, able to spot discrepancies and ensure 100% accuracy
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, able to prioritise and meet deadlines and has a history of working well under pressure
  • Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of e-commerce platforms and Sage would also be beneficial
  • Professional with good communication skills and the ability to confidently liaise and build relationships with customers
  • Committed to delivering a superb customer experience
  • Holds Maths and English GCSEs
