Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor Location: Chasetown Industry: Commercial/Construction

I have an exciting opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join my client in Chasetown. In this role, you will be key in managing budgets, cost control, and procurement for residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement & Subcontract Management: Issue subcontract enquiries, procure trades for new developments, and manage subcontract payment processes. - Cost Control & Budget Management: Compile site start budgets, perform profit and loss valuations, and manage day-to-day cost control while reporting on cost variations. - Collaboration & Support: Work closely with site teams to resolve issues, understand project costs, and ensure effective management of site running costs. - Commercial Reporting: Utilise the COINs database to produce monthly CVRs, ensure cost accuracy, and manage commercial budgets. - Subcontractor Final Accounting: Ensure final accounts are completed accurately to minimise future liabilities. - Continuous Improvement: Actively look for new ways to enhance the use of COINs and work closely with group companies to achieve best value. - Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify commercial risks and opportunities, providing a strong commercial voice to ensure the project's success. - Professional Development: Drive your personal development and career progression through ongoing learning and performance improvement.
