Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join a well-established, multi million pound company offering excellent progression and company funded training, as well as the opportunity to work on exciting Construction / Civil projects that will be implemented across the UK?

This company, who established themselves in the 1960's have now seen a multimillion pound turnover, working across a range of sectors, they provide Construction Solutions to an impressive client base. They have completed major projects in the UK, taking them from design through to completion.

In this varied role you will work with a tight-knit design team in the Burscough office, as you collaborate on the design and development of new mechanical designs using CAD and Inventor. You will put together design specifications and calculations for a range of machinery and hydraulics as well as conduct occasional site visits across the UK. You will follow the design process from conception, with the chance to see your designs come to life as they are manufactured on site.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar with a background in heavy plate fabrication / piling / agricultural machinery / lifting sector, who is looking to join a well-established company, offering a varied work life, excellent progression and training opportunities, all while working on exciting projects.

The Role:

  • Office based role - Monday to Friday (1:30pm finish on Friday).
  • Collaborate with the tight-knit design team.
  • Create Mechanical Designs in the office for machinery and hydraulics.
  • Conduct occasional site visits and the option to meet with suppliers.
  • Excellent progression available with company funded training courses.

The Person:

  • Mechanical Design Engineer or similar.
  • Background in heavy plate fabrication / piling / agricultural machinery / lifting sector.
  • Commutable to Burscough / Ormskirk.
