Accounts Payable Manager / Purchase ledger

Permanent contract – Salary up to £30K + Bonus

Office based role – Location: Burscough, Lancashire (Construction industry)

My client is seeking an experienced Accounts payable manager to join them on a full-time basis. You will oversee the daily accounts payable operations, including managing journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.

Key Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Sage 50 and Sage Payroll software
  • Experience with AAT accounting and CIS processing
  • Strong understanding of journal entries and accruals
  • Manage supplier invoices / relationships and details
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Relevant certification or degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
