Interim Financial Controller 3-6 Month FTC Hybrid Working- 3 Days Office based, 2 Days Home based Burton Upon TrentImmediate Start Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering exclusively with a fast-growing, private equity-backed company seeking an Interim Group Financial Controller to oversee its financial operations and strengthen financial controls and reporting. In this crucial role, you will support the company's continued expansion while ensuring the efficient and seamless management of the finance function.Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including year-end processes, audit preparation, statutory accounts, and consolidation of group accounts
- Ensure financial controls and procedures are implemented and maintained across all divisions
- Oversee preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure timely production of reports for the board
- Provide financial updates and reports to stakeholders, including private equity partners
- Identify areas for process improvement within the finance function and implement changes to drive efficiency and accuracy
- Lead and manage a small finance team fostering a collaborative working environment, monitor performance, and address any challenges
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Proven experience as a Group FC or Financial Controller in high-growth environments
- Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to manage both day-to-day operations and strategic financial oversight
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
