SF are currently working exclusively with a business based in Burton who have created a new role and are looking for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This role offers great opportunity for development and progression. Salary up to £40,000 Study support 25 holidays + bank holidays Sick Pay scheme Full time - Flexible working hours Rapidly expanding contracting and B2B sales Company is looking to recruit a PQ Accountant to work closely with the FC to provide proactive accounting support to the operational and commercial teams Opportunity to progress to Finance Manager role, with responsibility for 2 members of team. Duties & Responsibilities:- To prepare financial analysis and commentary for inclusion in the monthly management report, including collation and review of other report sections. To regularly review and periodically update standard product costs. To obtain, interpret and analyse data and take a proactive role in helping the senior leadership team understand financial information To have full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations To monitor general ledger transactions and prepare schedules for internal and external audits To process and reconcile intergroup transactions To have responsibility for year-end processes including ensuring year end stock counts are carried out appropriately and that inventory is valued appropriately on the balance sheet. To prepare payroll information for inclusion in monthly payments To submit and have responsibility for other monthly reporting requirements including quarterly VAT submissions To process and submit information for monthly CIS returns To develop the existing Business Central system to benefit the department and the Company Office based but some opportunity for hybrid working if required On site free parking Opportunity to progress to Finance Manager and further
