As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Senior Specification Technologist to join their business.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Complete and review all product specifications to ensure they accurately reflect the product supplied.* Manage customer specifications via multiple online portals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.* Collaborate with national account managers and suppliers to review product specifications in time for launches.* Manage and mentor the specification technologist team.* Maintain internal specification and raw materials documents to ensure commercial security.* Support NPD, Process, and Buying teams with interpretation of food regulations, customer policies, and codes of practice.* Check product artwork and sign off on packaging to ensure compliance with UK and EU regulations and customer requirements.* Oversee the site Quality Management System and complete internal audits to ensure effectiveness.* Assist in external and third-party audits, presenting information as required.* Organise and validate scheduled traceability challenges in line with HACCP and Quality Management System.* Manage products for export, liaising with customers and third parties to ensure attestations are in place.* Encourage and drive the site's food safety culture to prevent deviations affecting product safety, quality, and legality.If you believe you have the skills and personality to fit these requirements please either apply via this advert or call Henderson Brown on for more information.
