Derby based 4 days p/week - A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded technical production company, specialising in AV production to the live events industry. You MUST have an understanding of sound, video and lighting within the event sector to be considered for this role.

THE COMPANY

This established event production/AV agency based in the East Midlands pride themselves on service delivery. With an in-house teams, they supply live events with AV equipment from sound systems, LED screens, microphones, video equipment and much more They service end clients and agencies with  full production management, working across 100s of events per year - conferences, award ceremonies, experiential, production activations and exhibition build - no two days are ever the same! With a huge variety of large scale projects they work with some well-known, global brands across sectors including financial services, fashion, gaming and alcohol.

THE ROLE

As AV Events Manager, you will be working directly with clients, maintaining relationships and dealing with technical requests. You will also be required to use your technical expertise and assist with the set up of events, installing all of the equipment.

Your daily duties will typically include:

-          Managing key client relationships

-          Advising on technical solutions for live, virtual and hybrid events

-          Providing quotations, drawings and specifications

-          Arranging and booking crew and equipment logistics for events

-          Be the main contact at the venue for all rigging in the main conference suite

-          Responsible for all equipment residing at the venue 

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, ideally from within a technical supplier or production agency - this is a busy and fast-paced environment so we are looking for candidates who are team players and can work under pressure.
