Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week

Location: Burton On Trent

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly journals and control account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and expense payments.
  • Process sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
  • Conduct cash and bank reconciliations.
  • Support the development of finance initiatives and meet departmental KPIs.
  • Actively contribute to the operational running of the department.

Requirements:

  • Experience using Sage 50.
  • High attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong background in a busy finance team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with various communication platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with others.
  • Proactive, able to multitask, problem-solve, and work to deadlines.
  • AAT qualification (Level 3) or equivalent.
