About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Burton Upon Trent, is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. Facilities Maintenance Technician - Key Responsibilities

Carry out a variety of planned and reactive site maintenance tasks including general building work, carpentry, basic plumbing repairs, painting, groundwork, and general labouring duties
Complete general repairs across the site
Provide facilities support, including grounds maintenance and site clearance
Maintain clean and tidy working areas
Work both independently and as part of a team to complete repair and maintenance tasks
Ensure health and safety obligations are met and company policies are followed
Report safety concerns, hazards, accidents, and incidents by the end of shift

What You'll Need

Facilities Maintenance Technician - Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a general maintenance/handyperson role
Proficiency with hand tools
Counterbalance FLT certification
Valid driving license
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Strong manual handling capabilities

Desirable

IPAF certification

What's On Offer

Full-time, permanent position
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Based primarily at their Burton Upon Trent facilities with occasional travel to support their other local sites.
