The Recruitment Co is seeking CLASS 2 DRIVERS for a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment in Burton on Trent.
The role involves making 4-8 store deliveries across the country, with shifts starting between 02:00 and 04:00 and lasting 8 to 10 hours.
The pay rate for this position is £15.00 per hour, and candidates must be at least 25 years old with no more than 6 points on their licence.
Applicants are required to have a minimum of two years of experience driving an HGV, along with a full HGV 2 licence, in-date CPC, and digi tacho.
Candidates should also have experience using a tail lift and roll cages, demonstrating a positive, punctual, and hardworking attitude towards their work.

Location:

The role is located in Burton on Trent with early starts any time between 02:00 - 04:00 The duration of the shift is 8 to 10 hours

Rate of pay:

£15.00 per hour

Duties:

Your main responsibility will be to support our client with 4-8 store deliveries across the country. During the deliveries, you will be responsible for delivering caged goods and tail lifting cages at each stop.
This role is temporary but with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
You must be aged 25 or older for this role due to Insurance purposes with no more than 6 points on your licence.

Experience & Qualifications

You must have at least two year of experience on the road in a HGV
A full HGV 2 licence, in date CPC and digi tacho.
You are required to have a proven track record of a positive, punctual and hard working attitude towards work.
Experience to use a tail lift, roll cages on and off a truck at each stop.
