Blue Arrow are excited to welcome new chefs to join our team and work with clients across various locations in the Midlands. Blue Arrow Burton is located in the heart of Burton on Trent and serves the East Staffordshire area, with additional branches extending our reach even further.
We offer flexibility, allowing you to select assignments that fit your schedule best. Our consultants are always available by phone to discuss any details or answer your questions.
Our catering services span several sectors, including Contract B&I, Leisure, Events, Care Homes, and Schools. If you have a specific industry preference, please mention it in your application. Hourly rates for shifts range from £15 to £22, depending on the time, location, and client.
Typical responsibilities for this role include:
* Preparing and serving food according to specifications
* Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
* Maintaining a clean and organized work station
* Assisting fellow kitchen team members
* Completing site-specific kitchen paperwork and administrative tasks, such as stock ordering, delivery notes, and temperature logs.
About you:
* At least Chef De Partie level experience with a Food Safety level 2 certification obtained within the last three years.
* Hard-working, dependable, and friendly.
* Committed to following procedures, including Allergens and Health and Safety guidelines.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
* A passion for cooking.
* Access to your own transportation for travel between various sites.
An Enhanced DBS check is preferred but not essential (we can assist you in obtaining one if you're interested).
