CRM Lead (Technical Manager) - Up to £50,000+

Burton Upon Trent - Hybrid (1-2 days per week in office)

A growing team is looking for a CRM Lead (Technical Manager) to take ownership of their Braze platform (or similar ESP/CDP) and drive automation across multiple brands. This is a key role to optimize customer engagement and CRM performance.

THE COMPANY

A leading hospitality brand with multiple UK businesses. Their CRM team has expanded from 2 to 12 members in just three years, offering centralized expertise across multiple brands. With 3000+ automated touchpoints, they need a CRM expert to improve automation, enhance personalization, and work closely with Product, CRM, and Data teams.

THE ROLE

As CRM Lead (Technical Manager), you will oversee and evolve CRM capabilities using Braze or similar platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize the Braze platform for email and push automation
  • Collaborate with Product, CRM, and Data teams to execute high-quality campaigns
  • Optimize customer journeys, voucher codes, and behavioral triggers
  • Launch 40+ push campaigns this year
  • Work with developers and tech teams to ensure efficient CRM processes
  • Reduce complexity in automation while improving customer engagement
  • Influence senior stakeholders to drive CRM strategy
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate is a strategic and technical CRM expert with experience in automation, email, and push notifications.

Essential:

  • Experience managing ESP/CDP platforms - Braze preferred, but open to Salesforce, Adobe, or Bloomreach
  • Strong email & push automation experience
  • Technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, Shopify Liquid (preferred but not required)
  • Experience in CRM campaign optimization, audience segmentation, and customer lifecycle strategies
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with personalized content for web and app
  • Exposure to zero-party data collection
