Simon Acres Group is proud to be partnered with one of the leading UK independent builders' merchants and are looking for a full time External Sales Representative o join their team in Burton upon Trent.
This is a full time, permanent role, paying up to £35,000 + bonus
Please note, it will include working alternate Saturday mornings.
Key responsibilities:
- Playing an instrumental role in growth and development of the branch
- Working as part of the team
- To identify new business opportunities
- Promoting brand as a supplier of choice and converting deals into regular business
- Maintaining relationships with the exiting customers and ensuring they continue to receive excellent customer service
- Taking proactive approach to visiting existing and potential customers in and around the Stafford area and building lasting relationships
- Using every opportunity to maximise sales
Ideal Applicant:
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Sales Track Record: Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Product Expertise: Excellent product knowledge of a range of building products
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate and close deals while maintaining mutually beneficial relationships
- CRM proficiency: to manage leads, follow-ups, and client interactions
- Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and travel schedules effectively
- Presentation Skills: Confident in presenting product solutions, often tailoring the pitch to meet the specific needs of clients
- Adaptability: Quick to adapt to new market trends, products, or client demands.
- Personable: Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour to build rapport with clients.
- Full driver's license is essential for this role
