Role Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Estimator - This key role demands expertise in structural steel and a solid track record of managing complex estimates. Ideal candidates will be analytical leaders with strong negotiation skills, capable of ensuring our bids are competitive and successful.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver precise cost estimates for structural steel projects, encompassing design, fabrication, erection, and associated services.
  • Interpret project requirements, specifications, and drawings to create accurate, competitive bids.
  • Guide and mentor the estimating team to uphold accuracy and high standards.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to offer cost-effective, value-engineering solutions.
  • Manage tender processes, oversee bid submissions, and present to clients.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
  • Track and adjust estimates to align with project budgets over the lifecycle.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, materials, and innovations to enhance market competitiveness.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive estimating experience in structural steel or construction.
  • Strong understanding of structural steelwork, including design, fabrication, and erection.
  • Demonstrated leadership with team management experience.
  • Proficient in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong in negotiations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Degree or qualification in construction, engineering, or related field is desirable.
