Lead Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)

Role Overview- Salary: £52,500 + potential bonus (£2,000)

- Shift Pattern:
- 8 hours shifts - Rotating Monday to Friday shifts (days, afternoons, nights) with reduced hours on the Fridays:
- Day/Afternoon shifts: 6 hours on Fridays
- Night shift: 6 PM to midnight

This is a hands-on role that requires electrical qualifications and expertise, but you should also be aware that a large portion of the work is mechanical. You will need to be flexible and enthusiastic about mechanical tasks, as they are an integral part of the role.
- Lead a team of technicians in maintaining industrial services (e.g., plant and production lines, boilers, refrigeration systems, waste handling, and water treatment processes).
- Perform both electrical and mechanical preventive and reactive maintenance.
- Supervise the prioritisation and execution of planned maintenance activities, collaborating with production teams and other stakeholders.
- Use fault-finding skills to continuously improve asset performance and reliability.
- Manage shift engineering coverage and lead team development.
- Support and improve manufacturing operations through both mechanical and electrical tasks.

Qualifications:
An electrical engineering qualification is essential, but candidates must also have the willingness and capability to perform mechanical work regularly.Experience:Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.Proven fault-finding abilities (both electrical and mechanical).Skills:A hands-on approach with a strong "can-do" attitude.
Ability to lead and support a team while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
