Finance Analyst
The Role
Are you ready to make an impact in a fast-paced environment? As a Finance Analyst, you'll take ownership of delivering insightful financial data and forecasts while working closely with key stakeholders to ensure robust decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing timely, accurate, and detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc performance reports, with high-level commentary.
- Supporting the production of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans
- Assisting in the period-end process, including preparing journals, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Driving improvements in processes, internal controls, and data integrity, ensuring consistency and quality across outputs.
- Providing first-line business partnering to internal teams, answering queries, and supporting decision-making with evidence-based insights.
- Collaborating on ad hoc analysis, projects, and performance reviews to identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with reporting tools and software
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, tailoring information for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business while prioritising effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A solutions-focused mindset with a drive to innovate and add value.
- Experience in financial reporting, planning, or analytical roles is highly desirable.
The Package
- Salary: Competitive, DOE (circa £45,000 - £50,000).
- Location: Flexible hybrid working, based in Burton on Trent
