inancial Reporting Manager – Burton-on-Trent – £45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus

Are you a qualified accountant looking for a role where you can make a real impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business in Burton-on-Trent as a Financial Reporting Manager, playing a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

The Role

As Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial reports, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting senior stakeholders with insightful financial analysis. You'll also have the opportunity to drive process improvements and, in the future, build and manage a junior finance team.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for investors, the Board, and regulators.

  • Leading statutory reporting (year-end accounts, group consolidations, and liaising with auditors).

  • Ensuring tax compliance (VAT, corporation tax, P11D).

  • Driving process improvements in financial reporting and systems.

  • Potential to recruit and manage a junior financial accountant in the future.

What They’re Looking For:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).

  • Experience with SAGE Line 200 (desirable but not essential).
