Early Years Placement Officer and Assessor full time, term time only, 40 weeks

We have an exciting opportunity for a Placement Officer and Assessor to join our thriving department at BSDC. We're looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in Early Years and experience of delivering to students. An Assessor Qualification is essential to this post or a willingness to work towards one to support our full-time learners to successfully complete their work/industry placement.

Hours for this role can be flexible to support learner and employer visits between 8:30 – 5pm.

You will have high expectations of learners and the ability to support and develop their skills in working with children. You will visit and observe learners in their practice and support them in preparing evidence for their qualification.

The role will involve engaging with new and existing employers to secure high quality work experience opportunities and T Level Placements.

The role will encompass travel to a variety of employers, so you must be able to manage your schedule effectively to meet the needs of the learners, the curriculum and the employers.
