Job Title: Pharmaceutical PipefitterLocation: Burton on Trent, UK (Includes overseas site work in the USA, Australia and Europe – all expenses paid)kenton Black are working with a Manufacturing Facility based in Burton-on-Trent who are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmaceutical Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Orbital and Manual TIG welding, with a keen understanding of stainless steel pipework, pharmaceutical skids, and pipework construction to uphold BSEN 9606 and ASME IV standards.Key Responsibilities:- Perform Orbital and Manual TIG welding of stainless steel pipework in accordance with BSEN 9606 and ASME IV standards.- Construct and assemble pharmaceutical skids and pipework systems with precision and in compliance with industry specifications.- Program and operate orbital welding machines, ensuring optimal performance (note: training will be provided on unfamiliar machines).- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements and the appropriate tools and materials needed.- Participate in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of pipework systems at various locations, including overseas sites.- Be willing to travel to overseas work sites in the USA, Australia, and Europe, as required; all expenses will be covered by the employer.Qualifications and Experience:- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar pharmaceutical or high-purity industry role.- Supporting qualifications such as NVQ 3 in a related field or Welding Codings.- Proven ability to manually weld stainless steel pipework to a high standard.- Flexibility and willingness to work on overseas projects as needed.- Current passport and ability to travel internationally.If you are a meticulous and dedicated Pipefitter looking for an exciting opportunity to work both locally and internationally in the pharmaceutical industry, we would like to hear from you.
