Calling all experienced TIG welders from across the engineering sector

Were looking for a TIG Welder/Fabricator on stainless steel, to build brewing vessels from sheet metal.


Day to Day

- Develop and mark out materials for the fabrication of vessels, platforms, and
pipework in stainless steel for the hygienic industries served by Briggs.
- Welding using the TIG process, (MMA and MAG is beneficial).
- The completion of any project given from start to its conclusion.
- Assist where required in the training and development of apprentices.
- Work with colleagues to successfully complete projects.
- Assist in site installations when requested.


Who We're Looking For

Professional Experience

- Either City & Guilds in Sheet metal work or plating, BTEC Level 2 Fabrication & Welding or BTEC Level 3 Fabrication & Welding.

- A minimum of 3 years experience, Working with sheet metal and plate and welding experience.

- Interpretation of Technical Drawings

- Able to operate a range of machinery in the fabrication process.

Technical Skills

  • MS-office basic knowledge
  • The ability to read and understand technical drawings, Isometric drawings and P&IDs.
  • Stainless Steel welding methodology.
