Monarch Healthcare is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to join our dedicated team at Croft Care Home in Burton on Trent, DE15.

At Croft Care Home, we offer care and support to older adults and individuals living with dementia. Our home provides bright, spacious accommodation designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Position Details:

  • Rate of Pay: includes increment for NVQ 3
  • Hours: 27 hours per week. We work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
  • Shift Times: 21:30 07:30
  • Location: Stapenhill, Burton on Trent (Please consider travel times, especially on weekends, before applying)
  • Required: NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
  • Please note we are not able to offer sponsorship

Responsibilities:As a Senior Care Assistant at Monarch Healthcare, you will support with the delivery of quality care, ensuring the highest levels of care are always maintained. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the highest levels of care are maintained by supporting clients with all aspects of daily living and providing support to staff members, ensuring shifts run in an efficient manner
  • Assist Clients in all aspects of their care needs. Complete, observe and review care planning needs, and complete written daily records as required and in line with the Companys policies and procedures
  • Answer the nurse call system, giving assistance as required
  • Report on the well-being of Clients and liaise with healthcare professionals
  • Clean and maintain equipment. Ensure the Care Centre remains clean and tidy
  • Dispense medication, if required, and ensure the correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication
