About the Role:We are currently seeking a Night Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a reputable nursing home in Burton-on-Trent. The nursing home specializes in Dementia, Eating Disorders, and Physical Disabilities, providing quality care in a compassionate environment.

Position Details:

  • Shift: Nights

  • Hourly Rate: £13.24 - £13.67

  • Shift Times: 19:30 - 07:30

  • Full-time Contracts: 36-48 hours per week

  • Experience Required: NVQ Level 3 and previous senior experience in healthcare

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the night shift, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents throughout the night

  • Administer medications and treatments as per care plans

  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior healthcare assistants, ensuring high-quality care delivery

  • Conduct regular checks on residents to monitor health conditions and report any changes

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records

  • Ensure residents' personal care needs are met with dignity and respect

  • Communicate with family members, staff, and healthcare professionals regarding residents' needs and care

  • Promote a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents

Requirements:
