This role involves supporting learners to progress and achieve success in Functional Skill and GCSE Maths, particularly focusing on students who are resitting these subjects and may present challenging behaviours.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach Functional Skill and GCSE Maths to students across a range of academic and vocational courses.
  • Engage and motivate resit students, including those who may present challenging behaviours.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities to enhance the Maths programme.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Level 3 or higher qualification in a Maths-related subject.
