Our client is an established business based for many years in Burton. They have an excellent reputation and are looking to appoint an HR Manager to fulfil a pivot role within the organisation.

In this role, you will lead all HR's practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high performance culture. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure all HR duties are undertaken in accordance with employment law, company policy and best practice. The role will also support global processes and initiatives.

Key duties will entail:

  • Supporting and coaching the management team
  • Developing and implementing HR and People strategies aligned to company objectives
  • Partner with management to project manage organisational and procedural changes
  • Take responsibility for all HR management and development
  • Support the processing of monthly payroll
  • Lead the work to regularly review the company's talent management processes
  • Work in partnership on projects to aid continuous improvement
  • Monitor and report any HR issues
  • Work with management in relation to talent management
  • Keep up to date with HR legislation
  • Facilitate as a mediator to endeavour to resolve employee grievances
  • Support and quality check recruitment practices
  • Identify some training needs and ensure effectiveness of any subsequent training
  • Recruitment and dismissal of staff within agreed limits
  • Management of HR & Training budgets

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and professional HR Manager and would suit someone with relevant experience who is qualified to CIPD level 5. You should also be adept at report writing, have great communication skills and the ability to create and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
