We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join a key client based in Burton-on-Trent. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home for three days a week and spend two days in our office, collaborating with a dynamic and supportive team.

Description

As our HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our HR strategy while providing hands-on support across the business. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and employees alike, contributing to both the strategic direction and the day-to-day HR needs of the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Reporting into Head of HR, but having full accountability for HR across your division
  • Partnering with leadership to design and implement HR initiatives aligned with business goals
  • Driving workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Supporting leadership within division to drive performance and increase profitability
  • Supporting culture and engagement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Providing expert advice on HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
  • Managing employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
  • Overseeing the recruitment lifecycle and onboarding processes.
  • Leading HR projects, such as policy updates, wellbeing programs, and diversity initiatives.

Profile

  • Proven HR experience, ideally within a fast paced commercial environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is highly desirable.
