LMS Administrator 12 Month Full Time Contract Staffordshire region - ST14 Hybrid role - 2 days per week on site£28,000 per annumOur client, a large-scale governing body, is seeking an LMS Administrator to oversee and optimise their Learning Management System (LMS) and Application System. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation, ensuring their learning platforms meet the needs of a wide range of learners while driving operational excellence.In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for system-related queries, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and play a vital part in shaping the future of their digital learning strategy.Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the LMS and Application System, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
  • Provide second-line support for system issues, escalating as necessary to internal stakeholders or external vendors.
  • Collaborate with the education support team to assist users and identify trends in support tickets.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making and track key performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for system improvements, ensuring processes and quality standards are upheld.
  • Support the digital learning systems roadmap, managing capacity and developments in line with governance policies.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital learning systems.
  • Contribute to shaping a learning environment that meets the needs of diverse audiences.
The Candidate: 
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in LMS administration within a learning and development environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train and support users across all levels.
  • Experience managing concurrent projects and collaborating with external suppliers or vendors.
  • A background in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
