Development & Support Analyst

Role Purpose: Our client is seeking a skilled Development & Support Analyst to join their IT team! In this role, you’ll support the development and maintenance of critical business process applications, ensuring smooth operations and effective solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in application development, troubleshoot issues, and provide end-user support. This role is office based in Burton on Trent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate throughout the development cycle, from design to testing, documentation, and user training.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery aligned with client goals.
  • Support the implementation of standardized reporting and business process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, offering insights for optimization.
  • Participate in technical projects, provide first- and second-line support, and assist with ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proactive and enthusiastic about delivering impactful solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with effective prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at working with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and email systems.
  • Experience with SQL Server, including writing and executing simple queries, basic understanding of database schema, and performing elementary data manipulation.
