Job Title: Mechanical FitterLocation: Burton-on-Trent, StaffordshireDuration: Contract (3+ months)Pay Rate: £17 per hourWe are currently recruiting for a number of Mechanical Fitters for 3+ months work based in Burton-on-Trent working for a large rail engineering company.Own transport is recommended due to the location.Candidates must have either of the following experience, Plant, Rail, HGV, Maintenance Experience, Overhaul background.The role of a Mechanical Fitter is to build transmission and sub-assembly to a high standard.Key Duties & Responsibilities:* Understanding of vehicle mechanical interfaces and repairs of vehicle components.* Install and repair of hydraulic systems.* Fault find and diagnostic investigation work.* Engine knowledge.* Overhaul of raft components.* Understanding of schematic drawings.* Training as and when required.* Previous Rail/Automotive or Plant experience required.Working Hours:* Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 17:00* Friday - 07:00 to 13:00* Overtime is available.Immediate interviews and starts available.
