Are you from a QHSE background within the manufacturing or production industry, looking for an autonomous role where you can influence real change and also benefit from training and progression opportunities?
On offer is a fantastic opportunity for you to play a key role in developing and improving QHSE legislation and practices for the business, working directly with Senior Managers to implement strategies and oversee a team of 5 engineers.
This company are a leader in their industry and have a great reputation for their high-quality products, service, and autonomy provided to middle management and senior management.
The day to day of this role will involve conducting risk assessments and audits, liaising with inspectors and clients, creating works instructions and procedures when required and perform HSE risk assessments.
The ideal candidates will have knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001, have knowledge of material testing practises and have some light supervisory experience.
The Role:
- Conducting risk assessments
- Conducting audits
- Liaising with inspectors and clients
- Creating works instructions and procedures
- Perform and assist with HSE risk assessments
- Representing the QHSE department on multiple sites (traveling to other sites once a quarter)
The Person:
- Experienced in a QHSE role
- SolidWorks experience (preferred not necessary)
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001
- Knowledge of material testing practises
- Great communication skills
- Willing to travel once a quarter
