Stock & Inventory Clerk

We are recruiting for an experienced administrator to join the inventory team on the night shift at a busy distribution hub close to the center of Burton on Trent where large quantities of stock for the beverage industry are moved throughout the warehouse 24/7. This contract is expected to last 1 year as a Maternity cover.

Basic rate for this role is £12.78 however hours worked between 22:00-06:00 will be paid at shift premium of £13.54. Any overtime after 37.5 hours will be paid 1.5x basic rate.

Responsibilities Include:
- Physical counting of stock both on foot and on scissor lift.
- Running reports and consolidating figures
- Answering customer queries via phone and e-mail
- Raising and investigating any discrepancies
- Assisting the warehouse and Ops team with any ad hoc admin tasks.

What we're looking for:
- Previous administrative role in a logistics or warehouse environment would be beneficial but stock control experience from other sectors will be considered
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Certified experience of working on an MHE or scissor lift would be beneficial.

Please be aware in this role you will come into direct contact with alcohol. The client reserves the right to conduct Drugs and Alcohol test at anytime.
