Job Title: Temporary Mechanical Engineer (Potential for Permanent Position) Location: Derbyshire Pay Rate: £24.36 per hour, Umbrella PAYE
About the Role:Our client is seeking a versatile and skilled Mechanical Engineer for a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This role is based on a massive site that operates 24/7, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical maintenance tasks, including reactive repairs.
- Handle a variety of systems, not strictly limited to mechanical systems.
- Be prepared to fix issues such as plumbing and toilet repairs.
- Opportunity to go on call and pick up extra hours after some time.
Qualifications:
- Multi-skilled Engineers:Open to those from plumber, pipefitter, air conditioning, or gas engineer or electrical backgrounds.
- Mechanical Background:Relevant Mechanical qualifications.
- Electrical Background: 18th Edition certification.Full apprenticeship.Test and inspect qualifications.Hands-on mechanical experience / skills.
- Adaptability:Must be able to handle a variety of tasks, including mechanical maintenance and reactive repairs.
