Pay Rate: £150+ per day

Location: Burton on Trent

Time: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work within a local primary school in Burton on Trent. This role involves providing high-quality teaching across different year groups, ensuring engaging and inclusive learning experiences. You will be responsible for covering planned and unplanned absences while maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.

The role includes:

Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Adapting lessons to meet the needs of different abilities
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Supporting children with their learning and development
Acting as a positive role model and creating a safe, engaging classroom environment

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working in primary schools across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
A strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent)
Strong classroom management skills
A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
The ability to work on a daily supply basis across different year groups

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Check – Must be on the update service (We can assist you with a DBS if you do not have one)
Two professional references
Ability to travel to different schools in the Burton on Trent area
