Macildowie are looking for an Office Manager to join a company in Burton-on-Trent. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and confident managing the day-to-day operations of a busy office. You'll be the go-to person for all things admin, facilities, and team support. This is a great opportunity if you're someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys taking ownership.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000Working Hours: 9:30am - 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Please note this is a full-time, on-site, permanent position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing the smooth running of daily office operations
  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external queries
  • Managing office supplies, equipment, and supplier relationships
  • Supporting senior management with diary coordination and meeting arrangements
  • Organising office maintenance, health & safety, and compliance tasks
  • Assisting with onboarding new starters and supporting HR admin
  • Maintaining accurate records, systems, and documentation
  • Leading or supporting internal events and team communications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager or similar senior admin role
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with the ability to take initiative
  • Comfortable working independently and handling confidential information
  • Experience managing suppliers, facilities, or office budgets (desirable)
