Class 1 Drivers Burton-On-Trent- 14.95 to 26.17ph
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for our client in Burton-On-Trent.
Class 1 Drivers are paid the following:
- 14.95ph between 06:00 and 20:00
- 18.69ph between 20:00 and 06:00
- 22.43ph after 48 hours on days
- 26.17ph after 48 hours on nights
**Candidates of Pure Staff DO NOT pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or or Payroll Processing Fees. **
This job will involve easy trunk runs to RDCs and other depots with backhaul collections and deliveries.
NO HANDBALL
Shift start times they need covering are in a 2-hour window in the below:
- 04:00 - 09:30
- 09:30 - 14:30
- 14:30 - 20:00
Assessments are over 2 days and will be paid, this will be classroom based. Day 1 is assessment and safe systems of work, day 2 is a day out on the road with a driver on an easy trunk run.
Class 1 Drivers will need a minimum of 6 months experience.
Shift pattern will be Monday to Friday each week.

Our client is looking for a candidate that can not only drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle successfully but that can communicate well with the transport team to ensure that all deliveries / collections are completed this includes a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.

- Class 1 Drivers licence
- CPC Card
- Digital tachograph card
- Clean Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT MS DR DD codes)
- 6 months experience is required due to insurance
