Job Title: Senior Respiratory Physiologist

Location: Based in Burton

Band: 5/6

Contract: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), part-time considered

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a skilled Senior Respiratory Physiologist to join the team, ideally with a BSc in respiratory physiology and ARTP qualifications. The role involves performing lung function testing, capillary blood gases, overnight pulse oximetry, and limited sleep study analysis. You’ll also set up and manage CPAP follow-up clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct lung function tests, capillary blood gas analysis, and sleep study assessments.
  • Perform CPAP setup and conduct follow-up clinics.
  • Work independently, covering multiple locations including community hospitals.

Requirements

  • BSc in respiratory physiology and ARTP certification (preferred).
  • Experience with overnight pulse oximetry, limited sleep study analysis, and CPAP management.
  • Ability to work independently across various hospital sites.
