We are currently hiring for an award-winning business! Working in a well-established finance small team, you will become an integral part of the day to day running of the finance team.

Job Title: Finance Assistant

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £26000 -£28000 (DOE)

Our client, an industry leader in the Tech sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join their team. As part of their dynamic Finance Department, you will play a key role in providing prompt and accurate financial data to support their operations.

Responsibilities:

    • Process Sales Ledger, raising and sending invoices promptly.
    • Handle Purchase Ledger processing.
    • Perform Cash and Bank Reconciliations.
    • Maintain Sales and Purchase Ledgers.
    • Prepare monthly journals and control account reconciliations.
    • Assist with month-end reporting and credit card transactions.
    • Manage staff expense payments and handle accounts queries.
    • Implement necessary controls and processes.
    • Carry out general office admin tasks.

Requirements:

    • AAT level 3 with a desire to continue your study (funded after successfully completing probation)
    • Experience using Sage 50.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially excel spreadsheets.
    • Strong background in a busy Finance Team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
