The role

Vision for Education is working with a Secondary School in Scunthorpe who are recruiting for a History Teacher to work full- time during term time. The role is to start immediately until the end of the academic year.

As a supply History teacher, you will be responsible for effectively delivering History instruction to secondary school students across Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4. You will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities, and employ a range of teaching methods to facilitate pupil learning. The successful applicant will have a strong background in mathematics, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to build positive rapport with Students

Requirements
To be considered for the position of History Teacher, you will:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS),
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 History lessons across ability ranges.
  • Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service.
  • ·       Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
