ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teacher of Maths (QTS) for our 'Good' client school located in Burton upon Trent. The role is to begin in January on a full time basis.

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team from January 2025. This full-time position is initially for one term, running until Easter 2025, with the potential to extend.

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
  • Take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals and fostering a love for Maths.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Maintain high expectations for student behavior and achievement in line with school policies.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Supply Teacher- Various Subjects you will:

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
  • Experience teaching in schools across multiple subjects is advantageous

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • QTS certification or equivalent is required.
