Position: Senior Residential Support Worker

Location: Burton-On-Trent

Salary Range: £30,000-32,000 incl £60 sleep-in payment per shift

Contracted Hours: 40 hours

A new residential children's home located in Burton-On-Trent are currently seeking Senior Residential Support Workers. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will provide care and support to children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager by leading the team to provide positive outcomes and promoting Independence
  • Be responsible for shift planning, conducting supervisions, leading the team, as well as offering support and guidance to your colleagues
  • Liaising with external parties and agencies
  • Providing a high standard of care to children and young people

Requirements:

  • Hold either a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR Children and Young People's / Level 4 Diploma in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner
  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Have a passion to support and nurture children and young people
  • Full UK Driving Licence
