Standby Healthcare are working with an established leading provider of residential care for children and young people who are seeking a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Children’s Residential Care Support Worker to join a dedicated and growing team who provide a range of residential services to look after and support young people. If you are passionate about making a difference to lives of young people, we would love to hear from you.

This is a permanent full time role. Working on a shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 off, including sleep in shifts.

To be eligible for this role you must have QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, with 3 years residential children’s home experience.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

· Actively Safeguard and promote the welfare of the young people

· Support with tasks such as quality assurance and regulatory visits

· Ensure the continued assessment of young people and children’s day to day needs

· Be responsible for the efficient and effective running of the shifts

· Planning and facilitating of activities, tasks and health and safety checks

· Direct practical interactions with children and young people including play, activities, cooking, personal care, engaging with the wider community, supporting educational and health needs

To be considered for interview, you must have:

· NVQ Level 3 Children’s residential Or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner (essential)

· UK Driving Licence.

· Minimum 3 years’ experience working with children and young people

· Ability to identify the needs of young people and work in a multi-disciplinary team

Must have full rights to work in the UK - Sponsorship is not available

· Paying up to £28,500 per annum depending on experience.

· £500 salary increase upon completion of probation

· £500 salary increase per year for every 1 year of service after passing your probation
