Tradewind Recruitment are thrilled to be recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Burton. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and nurturing environment, helping students with a range of additional needs to thrive and develop.
Position Details:
- Role: Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Burton, SEN School
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Term-time only)
- Daily Rate: £85 - £95 per day (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Support students with a variety of additional needs, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
- Collaborate with class teachers and SEN staff to create tailored learning plans for students.
- Assist with personal care where necessary, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to build students' confidence and independence.
Key Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure is required for this role (can be obtained through Tradewind Recruitment if necessary).
