Japanese speaking Translator

We are currently recruiting for a Japanese speaking Translator on behalf of a client near Burton upon Trent.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience. Ideally, the candidate will be able to come to the office 5 days a week. Applicants must possess a native level of English and professional proficiency in Japanese. 

The company specialises in financial research, helping its clients to identify the best investment opportunities focussing mainly on small to mid cap entities in Japan. They offer financial analysis, investor meetings, translation services and bespoke company insights. They are currently going through an exciting period of growth hence why they are expanding their team.

Responsibilities:

• Translate financial reports from Japanese into English and vice versa.
• Prepare reports for publishing.
• Ensure all content is translated accurately and in a professional manner.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed to strict deadlines.

What we're looking for:

• Native level English and professional proficiency in Japanese.
• Ideally previous experience in a translation role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple workloads.
