The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, validation, and testing of compressed air equipment, including compressors, desiccant dryers, compressed air filtration, nitrogen generators, condensate technologies and associated downstream equipment at the workshop near Burton-On-Trent plus customer sites UK wide when required.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a service background in electrical or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, turbines, refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics or similar electro mechanical engineering equipment.
Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.

- To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air products, systems and solutions.
- The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics, fault finding of various compressed air downstream and compressor filtration systems.
- Maintain, repair, install, validation & testing of compressed air equipment, including compressors, desiccant dryers, compressed air filtration, nitrogen generators, condensate technologies and associated downstream equipment.
- Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressed air filtration products.
- Workshop based near Burton-On-Trent plus customer sites UK wide when required.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical and mechanical / electromechanical engineering equipment.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer or similar in compressed air or related fields.
- The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new compressed air customers.
- Service background inelectrical or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, turbines, refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics or similar electro mechanical engineering equipment
- Mechanical or electrical engineering degree, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, FGas or similar would be advantageous.
- Commutable to the workshop near Burton-On-Trent plus customer sites UK wide when required.
