Are you an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor with a Mechanical bias looking for a new role within a leading manufacturing business in Burton on Trent? As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be assisting the current Maintenance Manager with the management of the maintenance team as well as being accountable for implementing PPM's, repairs and planned shutdown works within set budgets. Working Monday to Friday day shift, offering a salary of £52-57K + quarterly bonus.

The Role:
Managing a team of 6 Engineers, assisting the Maintenance Manager with;
* Allocating and managing the PPM schedule
* Development and training of the team
* Inventory which includes procurement, processing, organisation and stock takes
* Managing on-site contractors and suppliers issuing permits to work
* Risk assessments

The role also involves:
* Championing continual improvement within all areas
* Set and sustain high standards throughout the Maintenance team
* Conduct repair activities and recommend modifications to improve performance
* Contribute to the efficient operation of the plant to minimise downtime leading to increased production capacity and line reliability

Suitable Candidate:

Qualified Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical qualifications
Electrical engineering experience
Experience of hydraulics and pneumatics
Experienced Maintenance Supervisor or Assistant Maintenance Manager from a fast moving manufacturing business
Must be hands on
Ability to work well as part of a team, take direction and work on own initiative
Excellent interpersonal skills required to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Competent and efficient IT user
Ability to evaluate and problem solve effectively
