Who are we looking for?

Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Sport Curriculum Team to deliver on a range of Sport courses.   

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a forward thinking, learner centred department. Key focuses involve personal development, improving behaviour and attitudes whilst achieving impressive outcomes.  

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to innovative learning, teaching, and assessment. The College is looking for an individual who is committed to helping learners stretch and challenge themselves and develop the skills sets necessary for progressing onto their next career step.  

The successful candidate will mainly teach on the BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport qualification. It may also involve a small amount of delivery outside of this qualification. In this role, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good time management, strong behaviour management accompanied by excellent communication skills to motivate and guide learners to succeed.
