Kenect Recruitment are looking to recruit time served Fabricator Welders for our client based in Burton on Trent

The Company:

The company offers bespoke engineering solutions to overcome to manufacturing challenges and obstacles. Due to continue growth, they now have a fantastic opportunity for a Fabricator / Welder to join their small, growing team on a permanent basis.

Job Role:

The main function and responsibility of the Fabricator / Welder will be to work as part of a Small Production team to assisting in the manufacturing, installation, and fault finding of machinery / equipment.

Duties:

  • Good working knowledge of mechanical engineering.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Assisting with Machine Fitting and Assembly
  • Good understanding of current environmental and H&S issues.
  • Experience in fault finding, defect rectification and routine maintenance activities.
  • Ad hoc CNC duties (both milling & turning)
  • Ad hoc Welding duties.
  • Operating various pieces of Production equipment / machinery
  • Using handheld tools to assembly products.
  • Some site work will be involved to assist in the installation of Machinery.
  • Quality control duties to ensure production is to the highest of standard.

Technical Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working within a workshop environment is essential.
  • Previous experience working within fabrication and welding is essential.
  • Previous CNC experience (milling) experience is desirable.
  • Must be able to able to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Must be able to work both individually as well as part of a small team.
  • Must be a strong communicator who can build relationship with colleagues and clients.

Day Shifts (Apply online only) Monday - Thursday and (Apply online only) Fridays
Salary paying upto 38000 Depending on experience
