Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including mild & stainless steel metal up to 8mm.

This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both hand and power tools to assemble and fabricate components according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Full manufacturing process including fabrication & welding
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications.
  • Assemble parts and structures as per design requirements.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.

Experience

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Familiarity with various welding techniques, particularly stick welding.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or workshop environment is essential.

Working 0700 - 1530, Mon - Thurs with a 1400 finish on a Friday.

Lots of overtime available, paying 1.5x after 39 hours.
