Accounts Senior - Accountancy Practice Bury St Edmunds Hybrid Working £28,000 - £38,000

A long-established and friendly practice is seeking a General Practice Senior to join its growing Bury St Edmunds office. This role is responsible for undertaking accounts preparation and tax compliance services for a range of business clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Accounts preparation and tax compliance services for a range of business clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies).
  • Possess a solid working knowledge of UK GAAP and the required disclosures for both small and medium-sized companies.
  • Comfortably communicate with clients regarding their financial and business procedures.

Personal Requirements

  • AAT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA part-qualified (ACA/ACCA) and nearing full qualification, with a minimum of 3 years of General Practice experience.
  • Experience using Cloud based accounting software.
  • Communicate effectively within a team and independently, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Ideally, have experience mentoring and coaching trainee staff members.
